Winter 2020 Programs

Tuesday

Multi-Sport

At Girls in the Game, we take pride in our multi-sport programs! Participating in a variety of sports at a young age improves coordination, transferable movement skills, and overall physical literacy.  Girls will learn FUNdamental sport skills for eight weeks; four weeks of each different sport, all in a fun, non-competitive environment! Each session will begin with a self-esteem lesson. 

Winter 2020 Multisport Sports: Volleyball & Ringette 

Ages:

5-10 years old

Day/ Time: 

Tuesdays from 6:00pm-7:00pm

 

Location: 

Douglas Park School

 

Dates: 

February 4th- March 31st, (Excluding Feb. 18th)

 

Price: 

$155 (including a youth Girls in the Game t-tshirt)

Rock Climbing

Our Girls in the Game Rock Climbing program is back by popular demand! Rock Climbing is not only an amazing way to build physical strength, but inner strength as well! It is a great way for girls to learn perseverance, problem-solving, and be a part of a supportive community. Girls will practice basic climbing techniques as they boulder, top-rope, and climb using the auto-belay! Each session will begin with a self-esteem lesson. 

*Rock Climbing Shoes and Harness provided

Ages:

6-10 years old

Time:  

Thursdays, 6:00-7:30pm


Location: 

Regina Climbing Centre

 

Dates: 

Feb. 6th- March 19th (Excluding February 20th)

Price: 

$165 per participant (cost includes a Girls in the Game t-shirt, and equipment rental fee)

Huda School Programs

Girls in the Game is so excited to partner with Regina Huda School to offer culturally sensitive programs for their female students. Girls will build FUNdamental sport skills in a positive, non-competitive environment from female coaches. This program will be open to all girls affiliated with Regina Huda School.
