What to Know Before You Go

Summer Camps Start July 6

Registered for a summer camp ?

Here is what you need to know before your camp starts.

All Day Multi-Sport Self Esteem Camps

When: Monday- Friday, from 9:00- 4:00

Camp 1: July 6-10

Camp 2: July 13-78

**FREE early drop off (8:00 am) and late pick-up (5:00 pm)

Where: The Nest Health Centre

2400 13th Ave (The old YMCA)

 

What do I bring: 

- a filled water bottle or 2

- a NUT-FREE lunch and a snack (microwave, or purchasing lunch from Subway will not be available)

- Dress for the weather! 

hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bug spray (to be applied before camp, if possible)

- Clean, indoor running shoes for the gym- no flip flops, Crocs or sandals. 

- Towel and bathing suit for spray pad fun! 

 

Other things you need to know: 

- Please no toys or electronics

- Please no earlier than 8:00 am for drop off, and no later than 5:00 pm for late pick-up. 

-Pack a little extra food. Kids will be active and that means they'll be hungry. 

- Workbooks and all other supplies and equipment will be provided

- If there is an issue with your child's t-shirt, please let us know and we'll get them the right size.

Harness the Horse power

When:

Camp 1: July 13 &14, from 9:00-3:00

Camp 2: July 20 & 21, from 9:00-3:00

 

Where: Camp is located at Beaver Creek Ranch, just outside of Lumsden. Please view driving directions/map, Beaver Creek Ranch, Google Map

What do I Bring: 

-  a helmet- a bike helmet will do

-  shoes or boots- NO SANDALS

- Jeans or leggings, tanks and t-shirts are okay

- Bring a hoodie in case it's cold

- sunscreen and bug spray

- nut-free lunch and snacks

- lots of water and be sure to label your water bottles. 

- If it is hot, Brenda has a small paddling pool for the kids to play in. They are welcome to bring bathing suits and towels to cool down.

Girls Rock! Climbing Camp

When:  Monday- Friday, from 9:00 -12:00, Aug 10-14

 

Where: Regina Climbing Centre- 606B Solomon Cres.

What do I Bring: 

-  Clothes to move in- leggings are ideal

-  Socks

- A filled water bottle or 2

- A nut-free snack (optional)

Other things you need to know: 

-All other climbing equipment, including shoes will be provided by the Regina Rock Climbing Centre. 

- A Regina Climbing Centre requires a liability waiver to be completed before camp starts. You can click the link here and fill it out online. Liability Waiver
